    A joint Toyota/Subaru sports car project has been in the works for what feels like forever. Now, finally, here's the first look, a heavily production-based concept called the Toyota FT-86 set to debut this month at the Tokyo Motor Show.

      I will be in the car and will not care.

      Biggest problem for me is that it doesn't work as a panda. They better offer it in Super Red II :o

              looks like crap. I would pay for an ae86 before I would let someone give me one of those.


              On second thought, I will take that UGLY car, sell it and buy an ae86 and use the extra money for a pair of Fujiwara Tofu Shop decals.... and some other stuff.

                it's still a prototype, and i think it will look better in the actual roadgoing form.

                  It almost looks to me like competition for the BMW 1-series, or the Hyundai Genesis...

                  I'm still out on whether or not I like it. but, since I have an actual AE86 right now, it's going to be VERY hard to match the sheer awesomeness of the car...

                    The Fujiwara decal was only on the driver's side door. You're not a very good anime ricer.

                          Henchman- nice shop, but ugh, no.

                          Roy, what the HELL are you talking about? The base motor will be an N/A flat-four, and there will likely be a turbo option.
