He must have been on the 750 setting because i really doubt a R35 would pull on a busa at 160. The only reason it can get it from the start is because of its a car and you can pull off as fast as you want because of the awd, plus the rider isn't a drag rider. If it were set up for drag it'd spank the gtr off the line. The busa would be up in smoke just dumping it off the line. Also is it raining? that doesnt help with the lack of traction on the beginning.

That car is nucking futz regardless...
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

Watch our exclusive video of the new 2008 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa flat out at Bruntingthorpe. MCN road tester Adam 'Chad' Child pushed the bike to an indica...

Look at the excelleration. No way that GTR beat that. Plus even just adding a slip on exhaust it'll murder that much faster. Read the comments this video is so fake.

the car might be fast but until you've riden a bike in those speeds its not impressive.

As I mentioned (I think in the "how fast have you driven" thread), I rode a pal's CBR1000RR.
Stupid, ridiculous, insane, defy logic and mortality fast. It's entirely probable that the busa rider was sandbagging. I know sure as **** I'd be, in the godam rain. I couldn't get it to hook up on dry pavement in third gear fercrissake.
I won't buy one. I haven't the maturity or discipline to ride one and live and I wanna see my kid grow up. I sold my 600 katana years ago when I realized it didn't scare me anymore, and the only solutions were to get a faster bike, or quit riding. I know cold where the first option would end up. Going into warp is just too tempting...

PS that bike got totalled long since. Rider just got a busted collarbone and ankle for his trouble, he got lucky. The stats on literbike longevity are astounding.

I know a lot of riders. I've ridden 178 in my 600. The thing is 150 is here so fast that you don't notice it. I've never got on a liter or higher bike but i only slow down when there is a high cross wind. I know how to ride decently and know for a fact that that car would not beat a busa with slip ons or a stock busa seeing that video.

Oh don't get me wrong, I've been riding bikes since I was 6 and know how to ride, I mean I had wheelie+wheelspin and didn't die... I just don't know how to ride that much power and um not abuse it...

after watching that busa do a run on the straightaway it makes it a little harder to believe on a flat dry surface that gtr would even have a chance. they show another clip of it running a 1/4 mile, or one that they set up on their own. and it runs mid to low 10's. now my buddies bike (1000cc) something.. said he ran 10's all day at the track, but that was quite a while ago. after seeing that busa run my mind is boggled. but still, its a fast gtr.
