Ride in a respectfully built mazda, being all engine or turbo, tuned, and come back tell me you feel the same. Anyone can put a B16 head on to a B18 block (Poor mans gsr) and make it "quick".... or simply swap an engine. nice car i think though. No offense, looks clean as hell though and if i may ask why the wide rims??? What does that car have under the hood?? is it just the b16? which one?

drive a 10:1 BP sometime & you'll have more appreciation for how much compression ratio really effects these BP's
BTW stretched tires= good luck homie. ride low & slow or have fun breaking the bead.
Driven a few 10:1 BPs. I'll take a B16 any day of the week, and twice on Sunday.
High compression BPs are great.... for making you detonation limited.

No really... it does. Moron kid didn't have one on it, so when it rained, water pooled in the pipe and ****. I'm told it would spew nice fountains after a rain.
This whole setup is going away, though. Going to get my spare Grand National + custom manifold + Tial 38 setup on about... 25psi. Exhaust will dump out bumper same way as the red car.

Yeah considering the B16 has VTEC, it will take more then high compression to equal the 150 or so OE HP let alone with bolt-ons. I am sure the BP has more torque, but what fun is that?92 Mazda MX3 GS> For sale, $1750 OBO

Give me a B18B to start with, and i'll deliver a 1.8 motor that makes 210-220whp n/a without even really trying.
Here's the thing about the BP to me: It's only good because of the cars it gets put in. It's an entirely mediocre motor in every other possible way. Do i hate it? No. It serves its purpose and does it quite well. Would i ever put one in a car it didn't come in? Hell no. (Not speaking to your LX-GT, mind you... that's different. )

LX- to GT is like going from SOHC D engine to a B VTEC haha.
Bottom line is BP is great for boost, but not for N/A, which is why I am playing around with it for a while to experiment, and since I want to stay N/A the BP will be leaving for something more suited to N/A power.
