added negative camber up front, installed the 25mm spacers and MKIIs, and swapped the Rewinds onto the rear of my car. the track car got roll cage padding and a right rear caliper replaced, then we took it around the block.

Saturday we went to Lime Rock to convert money to smoke and noise.



nothing mechanical broke (just some cracked/smashed fiberglass) and as it turns out it is hard to keep up in a tandem train when you are down 100+hp on all the other cars involved. a 50-trim, Z32 MAF, JWT ECU, and bigger injectors are in the works, probably for after Opening Moves at Englishtown.

yesterday we loaded up my car to go to its new home. going to get it in the air and hopefully have the oil pump ready to go tonight. the goal is to have the car done and on the street by June 1st so I have time to work out the bugs by the next LRP event on the 22nd.



also, traded a stock driver's seat for a harness bar. seemed like a good deal.

The wheels where only $125 The FC is getting some BP love here soon I got a miata entire drivetrain for $200! I'm going Holset HY35 + E85 + Megasquirt. The stock body one... going turbo eh?

FC + BP is fun, there's a guy on ZT who swapped a B6 into George Marstanovic's old car though I don't think it's running yet... I'm wishing I'd done an FC/GTR instead of this stupid ****ing Nissan.

plan is N/A KA until I get good enough to need more power, then a small T3, and when I blow the motor I'll stuff the GTR in there with something a little smaller than the HY35.

They do look ugly right now, but once the car is dropped with the ZG flares it would look a lot better. Yeah I've seen that fc, not bad. I think you might be right, HY35 might be a little too big for drifting a 1.8

not that it's too big, I just intend to run less than all the boost and a somewhat smaller turbo would be better for that
