Stripped the Probe. Found out why it wasn't running lately... burnt out fuel pump, lol, this ****ing stupid probe broke literally every single time it was driven. I'll be glad when this headache is out of my garage... hopefully tomorrow afternoon if all goes well.

Then it's time to rock the Miata-swap-fest. Plan is to get the 2000 stripped and cut into pieces, then sorted into two piles: Keep, and scrap. Then get the 1999 body assembled so I can plasti-dip it "Koy Orange" then install the drivetrain/electrical and fully assemble it by mid May hopefully (may be dreaming on that deadline.) Just in time for drop-top season!

Yesterday I took Moby the Land Yacht to go visit my mechanic pal, so we could run some lubro moly diesel purge through it and maybe have him look stuff over, see if anything needs attention, see if that lil sign of ex. leak means we need a new manny gasket and all. Damn glad I did that cuz he noticed a fanbelt idler pulley that was ready to wobble itself right offa the engine. new shaft and bearings showed up today. We're gonna do the other pulley and got the rebuild kit for the fan pulley as well, and an exhaust manny gasket. Other than that, he was just amazed at the shape the ol girl is in. I'm just real glad it didn't leave me on the shoulder somewhere so the day went about as well as it could really!

just found out PBM has subframe risers back in stock, gonna grab those before work.

Put the summer wheels on my 626. Forgot how ridiculously worn out the tires were; WTF was I thinking type worn out, so I ordered some new ones.

Spent 12 hours working on the VW yesterday. I have a whole new list of reasons why I'll never buy another one.
