went to East Coast Bash yesterday.
second run of the day, this happened:
not only was he keeping up with competition cars (both of which having at least 150hp on him), but he did it while the car was on fire. he said when the car in front of him checked up for the hairpin (on the straight right before this picture was taken) he felt a huge blast of heat from the back of the car and figured something was up, but didn't realize the car was on fire until the flames blew past him coming out of this corner. managed to get out of the car and with his fire extinguisher and a couple borrowed from the next two cars by (Tony Angelo and Geoff Stoneback) had the fire mostly out by the time the ambulance got there.
tank and rubber lines are toast, one of the brand new Origin overs is damaged, right and center lights are ****ed, but everything else will clean up just fine and we'll have the car back together for the next event in a couple weeks.sigpic

Lol. I don't think the guys at discount enjoyed them much either. They quoted me 30 mins. 2 hours later I finally drove away. Meh whatever. Those 205's were all I had, and I'm not spending money on tires right now.
Matt, the pics are deceptive. They're not crazy, but they're 205/45's on 16x8's. They're stretchin'.Last edited by CODY004WD; 07-02-2013, 09:53 PM.Current:
