I'm starting to get serious about building a lowish compression 347 stroker for this beast... I can shave 200+LBS by swapping the all-iron big block for a small block with aluminum heads AND two 67mm snails. It wont have quite the diff crunching low end that it currently has, but it'll more than make up for that with top end, weight reduction and proper gearing/tire size. Should be friendlier to the drivetrain, and much friendlier to the handling of the thing. I'm confident that i can drop a full second and get into the mid 12's without doing crazy launches, and have a chance at possibly auto-xing her on occasion too.
