I agree. But as played as they are, the Gen4s are super sexy and super light. If i had real monies, i would have bought those. Because we all know the extra 2.5lbs per corner my 5ULs weigh is going to ruin the car and prevent me from winning the HPDEs.

I (obviously) will take interesting wheels over weight savings, but I'm not trying to win track days with my horrible Nissan... though 12 lb and 14 lb respectively isn't bad? I don't even want to think about what the Eurolines on the ZX2 weigh.

I don't know, i didn't read the thread. It's on Miata.net, so it was probably a bunch of stock wheels and some extremely high offset sunken Panasports/BBS meshies.

Probes suck. And the owner base is substantially less intelligent than the MX6 owner base

Same goes for Escort vs. Protege owners. Same cars for the most part. Escort owners drool all over themselves, and the Protege owners have a functional frontal lobe.

pushed the ****ing P5 out of the garage after pulling the motor last night.... snap ring in the oil pump failed & shot the whole valve/spring assembly down into the oil pan.... the rest is history....
why they **** use a snap ring..... a major downgrade from a simple cotter pin right through.... sigh

The threads themselves are the worst thing ever. I made a couple blatant troll threads that i thought were completely insane, and it turns out that everyone is so out of touch with reality that not a single person recognized that they were trolls.

I test drove a new Mirage and wondered how they sell any of them.

You just know that 50% of the people show up, drive, and think to themselves "You know... my 93 Taurus isn't all that bad!"
