2 post or 4 post hoist?

Personally Im leaning to a 4 post, for the simplicity of the install. I have no experience in either,I was "raised" on inground centre posts. And one of those is definitely not an option. So? 2 post? or 4 post.whos got what?

Deff a 2 post. 4 post are really only good for things like exhaust were you need to have the car "loaded"

Easier to work around and under a 2 post. I wish to hell I didn't know so damn much about this....
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

2 post ftw, less bulk, and makes suspension, brake/gas line work a breeze...don't have to crawl around the 4 post lol, smacking your head once a week lol

4 post is a pain to raise the whole car then lift the car off of the lift to pull a tire.

2 post saves time and most can come in a 10k lb capacity (4 post is better if you plan to work on F350's/3500's and heavier) to handle just about anything a DIY'er wants to do at home. I use both at work and most times I use a 2 post b/c it quicker and easier to work with.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

2post. I use both everyday and 2 post is much nicer to work around. My 2 cents

thanks for the input guys, looks like a 2 post is the way to go for convenience .thining a 4 post will pay off for me in the long run with the ability to stack a car, though i only have barely enough height to lift a car a few feet as it is. the extra indoor parking is too tempting,we've had this place for 20yrs. just added a loft,..we're not moving,EVER it'll get raised some how i hope.
sorry, shoulda mentioned the need for a extra ****box in the garage.

You can still stack cars with a two post. Did it all the time at my old work

                            It's a kwiklift I found locally,cost me 800,it'll work fine for me.
thing breaks down with the longest ramp being a little over 8 feet. I took the passenger seat out of the bg , the seller thought I was nuts trying to move it with a "little hatch back"
He offered to drive it the 75 Kim's home on a small trailer for 50 bucks,so I said sure.
It would have taken a good three drives there and back, but the "little hatch back"could have done it.
