WTF is a .SFV file?

i downloaded Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude on Bit torrent and in order to play it i have to extract it but all the files are in a number series except for one that is a .SFV file.....how the **** do i extract it???

The sfv is for checksum verification purposes. Basically if you have a SFV checker program you can verify that all of your other files are intact.

What you need to do is fire up WinRAR and open the first file of the numbered series. Thene extract. Good luck.

if all else fails. just type in .SFV in google and about 80% os the time it would let you know.

i tried that first...it just came up with a bunch of garbage sites that didnt help at all....
