Trust me, it did... I unpacked it from the box it arrived in from the computer store and plugged it in, and that's how it looked.

no, the default setting is to have them together at the bottom, not top and bottom, it's not an option, you have to go into the terminal and change it.

FYI, i just talked to my friend who just got a brand new Ibook afew days ago, and hasent messed with it at all, and he just told me that his scroll bar, looks exactly like the one youve got posted up.. with the arrows on both ends, doubled up
