    axle boot question

ok so i bought some reman celica alltrac axles on ebay for a great deal.. the guy failed at packaging and theres a small nick in one of the boots not even 1/4" long. in the center of the cut it just barely punctured through the boot.

i was thinking about trying to seal or patch it, since the boot is brand new. what would you guys reccomend? i was thinking perhaps some shoe-goo or even just some permatex ultra-black.

otherwise i could spend like $20 and get really messy replacing the boot.

Shoe goo or tire patch would be my guess. All you need to do is keep the greased in.

      ... and the dirt out

i would try a tire patch w/ rubber cement they provide.

shoe goo, just clean it with some rubbing alchohol before u do the glue so that u get a good clean seal
