The best drum solo I've ever seen (live) was similar to this one..
Joey Jordison of Slipknot. The drumming was awesome, but even more awesome was the fact that he was strapped in with a 5-point harness to a race seat, lifted about 30 feet in the air, flipped face down, then rotated for a couple 360's. nucking futz!!

I will say one weird thing about machinegun smith is the way he looks... He has a tiny little pretty-boy head on a built, stout body, it causes me to smile every time I saw a good picture.
and that slipknot drummer is crazy! I dont know what it is, but I loose interest if it is a single solo, I like a solo in the middle of the song and how its incorperated into the song, but when they are by themselves it makes me feel like they are just making noise (thus the reason I watch covers and not just crazy good solos). no doubt he is AMAZING and that was a sweet video!There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.Comment

all the members of slipknot are really cool. especially the lead singer. i only say this cause ive met them. i also know the guys who built that contraption.
but honestly the are a rip off. mushroomhead is better and harder. slipknot is just circus rock.

Yeah, mushroomhead kicks some ass. Slipknot puts on a great show, but the music itself really isn't that spectacular these days.
