Kewl, an electric Datsun that tears up PIR. Too bad he hasta plug in after every run. Lemme know when the range is increased enough to be able to play like this in the real world!
I am impressed with the guy's weight management, he had the car at 2600 with the leadacid batteries and cut that by 700lb when he went to the lithiumions. That's a whole lot less than a Tesla, which seems to only have about a 50mile range when you thrash it hard. Sounds like he could double up or more on the Li batteries, still weigh way less than a Tesla, and buy himself some range between recharges.
