Okay, here is how you can get free ringtones....

For you people with the older cell phones who refuse to let go like me! This is compatible with I***** TDMA cell phones such as the 3360, 5165, 8260, and 7160. Sends through SMS..
    I have the ***** 5165.

This is a bit complicated, but it sure beats paying for this crap.

    Go to www.tones4free.com
    Select your country.
Find the song you want, and click on it.
When you go to the song page, towards the top, should be somewhere that says RTTL and has a checkmark next to it, click the check mark.

A popup should open, and the text should all be highlighted. Press Ctrl+C.

Now, to send the code to your phone.

    Go here...

Click in the text box, and press Ctrl+V
Now the RTTL code should be in the text box.
    Click Convert.

In the textbox called "To:" type your 10 digit phone number
Then select your cellular service provider.
If you use ATT wireless, most likely it is @mobile.att.net

Give the ringtone 20 minutes to arrive, depending on server traffic.

    OR

Option 2: Send the ringtone through email yourself

    Directions:

Open your email client, and enter your phone's email address into the TO field.
In the body of the email, copy and paste the first part of the above //SCKL code
    Send the email to yourself
If there are more than one part, repeat for each part until you have sent all parts
Note: If you are using Outlook, make sure you are sending the ringtones as plain text with line wrapping turned off! Go to Tools > Options > Send and make sure "Mail Sending Format" has "Plain Text" selected. Click "Plain Text Settings" and change "Automatically wrap text at ## characters, when sending" to a higher number than the SMS Size set in the previous screen

Option 3: Send the ringtone through AOL Instant Messenger

    Directions:

    Login to AIM
    Click Setup > Add Mobile
    Enter your phone's information
Send each part of above //SCKL code to your phone in separate IMs
Option 4: Send the ringtone through Yahoo Messenger

    Directions:

    Login to Yahoo Messenger
    Click the Mobile Button
    Enter your phone's information
Send each part of above //SCKL code to your phone in separate IMs
Option 5: Send the ringtone through MSN Messenger

    Directions:

    Login to MSN Messenger
Add yourself to your contact list
Setup your Mobile Settings by going to Tools > Edit My Mobile Settings
Click on the Mobile Settings button
Enter your mobile phone information on MSN's website
Sign off MSN Messenger and sign back in to activate new settings
Right click your name and select Send a Message to Mobile Device
Send each part of above //SCKL code to your phone in separate IMs

      no problem!

      what phone do you have?

Haha, it is soo much easier than paying for stuff.

And also, if you want to send SMS text messages for free, go to the following link.
I know I get charged 10 cents per text message to send, and free to receive them.

well, crap. The newer phones I can't find much on. You might want to give you Phone Company a call, and ask them if your phone supports RTTL codes. Your phone is also known as the Samsung a620.

For all new phones, including the Samsung VGA 1000, please follow the steps below, and promptly tell me I am the bomb.

ok, dont tell me I am the bomb, I just found out why it isnt free, because the songs that are good cost money.. son of a gun..
