the more liars that are cought the easier it will be for toyota to get around this.... When they can get people feeling bad for them after people start realizing there are alot of liars trying to cash in they will be less worried about buying another "run away" toyota.

A prius is not an environmentally friendly car at all and their cost of ownership is through the roof as compaired to gas vehicles, the ONLY reason I understand getting on is having huge commutes. 45mpg will pay for the car when your coming from a pickup getting 13mpg (as is the case with a coworker of mine whom drives 100miles round trip 5 days a week for work).

I am just playing... sort of... they are WAY over engineered. Nearly impossible for a joe schmoe to work on, special tools for EVERYTHING.

they really arent that bad. well, idk about the brand new ones... my parents own a 96, 98, and 00 and my dad and i have replaced just about all the wear parts at this point. that sounds bad until you consider that between the 3 cars they have covered over 700k miles =o

for some people they will drive to the moon and back, others they will spend the majority of their life in and out of shops (as with any manufacturer), its just a personal opinion, so if they work for you family, cool beans, dont mind my opinionated rambling ha ha.
