    Times from Moroso

Well...I learned I need to learn how to launch my car. I had one sort of OK launch and that was on my third and final run of the night. people watching said that I could shave andnothe .3 to .5 off with a proper launch. oh well. here's the times. sorry no scanner to scan slips in. my R/T SUCKS and on the first and second runs I spun 1st and second. the third run I just had real bad wheel hop in first. once I'm moving with traction I do great, quick shifts, etc. at least I got progressivly better as the night went on and I know driven well the car is capable of the high 14 mark I want it @. so...time to stop working on the car and start working on the driver.

    1st run
    R/T ... 1.241
    60' ... 2.963
    330 ... 7.546
    1/8 ... 10.997
    mph ... 72.01
    1000... 13.915
    1/4 ... 16.388
    MPH ... 90.45

    2nd run
    R/T ... 1.346
    60' ... 2.668
    330 ... 6.753
    1/8 ... 10.092
    mph ... 73.86
    1000... 12.955
    1/4 ... 15.390
    MPH ... 92.64

    3rd run

    a 15 still isn't too shabby.
I don't know how much you've done to your car, but that's not too shabby. and with what you say about your launch.. you'd be in the 14s.

I've added intake and exhaust. my goal for last night was to break into 14's. I missed it by .056. oh well next time.

yeah. so the mods aren't major.
was this the first time you've tried to drag a car?

Yeah just work on those reaction times and you're golden. What amount of boost are you running?

1st time i've dragged in 4 years and that was only 1 run. before that it had been anopther 8 years. sooo, I'm a bit rusty. i'm running stock boost.

              so that's 5psi, right?
well.. i think it's a given that next time you go, whether with a little more practice or a little more boost, you'll definitly make it in the 14s
best of luck for your next attempt! - you know when that is?

I'd love to go tomorrow for midnight madness, but can't afford it. I'm travelling all of february, so the last wed. in feb or 1st wed in march. it will have to be better driver skill. no more boost until I can afford forged internals and engine management.
