I started running the CNC mills this past week and today I was running some really nice 6 piston billet Aluminum calipers. Well the guy that was showing me how to load them into the mill never told me about keeping part of the fixture over a guide bolt that looked a lot like a stop to me. Well I ran my parts and the threaded hole for the Banjo bolt has a hole where the fluid feeds into the pistion cylinders was off centered enough to be out of tolerance. It was a 1 in 10 check and it was ok when I did my first check and my second and such, up until part number 30. well 14 in all were out of tolerance...
they were these calipers:
I thought I was toast... being still temp for a few days and all...
but the owner came over and looked them over and said they were still good!
If it had been the half with the bleeder I woulda been screwed! Finally a stroke of good luck!
