i need some advise, its about moving and job opportunities.

Here's the background.

Moved to London over 4yrs ago wanting to start fresh, and that's worked out great. Home town is Balm Beach, approx 3hrs north east...not too far.

Been living in the same **** hole for 2.5yrs now trying to save some money in hope to buy my cars, and find a better place to live...well I did that and my move in date is May 25th. Which I'm 100% stoked about, house has a garage, lots of parking, safe neighborhood...ect. Get to move there with my 626 and Protege, may even bring my VW down too.

Been working at the same place for just over 2yrs now, which is Roadside assistance, people call me needing help and I dispatch that service to them.

My dad calls me 15 minutes ago saying "hey call me after 10pm with your answer, do you want to run Coney Island Auto Wreckers with me in 12 months? I'll be the business and property owner and we can manage and run the place together, but you would have to move back here."

SO I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. Owning and operating an Auto Wreckers is basically what I want to do with my life, but I wasn't ready to get into so soon...as you can tell it's kind of happening at a bad time. I could only sign a 12 month lease, then I'd have to pack and move again, leave everything behind here...solid job, amazing friends, an amazing girl...

What would you guys do?

dude ...there is no comparison to owning/ running your own buisness ... it caan be stressfull as hell but the rewards are YOURS. not some asswipe officemanager that takes the credit for all your work (bitter? me? noooooo).
if she's that awesome in 12 mths she may go with you .

The offer is 100% valid, I know my dad is serious about this, he's selling the resort and wanting to move on with his life...there's been a lot of drama down at the beach with property lines, fences, chainsaws...fire trucks...lol you get the idea.

Yea I'm not sure if this girl would come with me or not, she's still in University, and will probably be there for another 2yrs or so.

It's a real hard choice and I'm not sure if I should take it or not, I've had a lot of fun in London so far...and some real rough times too mind you lol.

id def do it. a chance to do exactly what you want, so early in life is something that just doesnt happen. this is easily the beginning of what your gonna be doing for the rest of your life. if the girl is that awesome, and likes you as much as you her, she can come after college. if not, obviously it wasnt meant to be anyways.

I worked in a shipping company clearing 45+k a year living at home at 20 years old, the job SUCKED, i absolutely hated my life, weekends were not spent having fun they were stressing that I only had 13hr 34min 14sec left to enjoy it then I had another week of hell ahead of me.

Right now I have am getting into another career with my Chrysler program but have absolutely no money, last year I made 15k I think... fortunatly I had the wife making a whopping 14.5k to help carry us.

What I am eluding to, with money being super uber tight right now, would I ever give up what I WANT in my future for something that will please me short term? NO

If you want to get into the auto wrecking buisness, and that is your dream, there is no better opportunity than the one you have comming to you. There is no better way into the industry, so if you think roadside assistance and this girl are what you want for your future, cool... if you want to do this auto wrecking I would jump at the opportunity, ultimately if the girl wont follow a measly 3 hrs from home I dont know how devoted she is to begin... my mom met my dad on some sort of college sponsored trip, she was from kentucky, and my dad was from oregon, crazy yes, but after just shy of a year of phone calls, and letters, they got married and my mom moved to oregon where she has been since. Im not saying it was easy for her or that what she did is even "normal" but she loved my dad and going on 30 years later you can still see the love.

This. Seriously never ever put a chick in the mix when it comes to doing your thing. Give consideration yes but its something you've wanted to be and if she don't understand that then maybe she's not as compatible as you thought
