I just OFFICIALLY finished my retro fit on my accord headlights and I think they look hot!
I just need to find the best adjustments to them. Worth every penny for the end results I got as well as feedback from people

Well I had another project this weekend. When we bought our house back in08 it was a 3bdr 1.5 bath. The 1st project was to convert the downstairs sitting/front room into another bedroom for my daughter. The room was built but I never got around to finishing up the trim work. That got done last weekend. All that still needs to be done is cover the nail holes in the trim and paint them. Now its a 4bdr 1.5 bath.

Well fast forward to this past weekend. Our full bath only had a stand up shower(5ft one at that). With 2 kids living with me that wouldn't fly and it was only a short amount of time that that had to change.

So Friday after my horrible day at work(a 300-400lb stack of corrigated paper sheets fell out of the back of the trailer when I openedd the door) me and my neighbor ripped out the shower and got things prepared for a new full size 6ft tub. We figured we'll get tiles alll the way to the celing.

Basicallly we knocked out the 1 ft of walland had to reroute all the plumbing. Guess the ppl that bought that house didn't want a tub(older ppl). Well as we finished last night the plumbing is done, tub is installed and tiles are up.



Today the other guy that was doing the tile work is coming to grout the tile. Then tomorrow it gets sealed. We're going this week at some point in time to get a new vanityand medicine cabinet. Next weekend I'm laying the tile floor, installing vanity and cabinet and that bathroom is done.

I've always found that working on cars makes me happy and calms me. Doing this house upgrades makes me feel even better. Me and the wife have a lot of plans thought up now. Our bedroom has a spot the sae size as the full bathroom. So soon enought we'll have a master bath. That will turn the house into a 4bdr 2.5 bath. The when we finish the basement, we'll have another full bath with the rest of the space as just a giant open space for entertainment/guest room. No bedroooms down there just fun lol.

I never understood why people put a shower with no tub. You can take a shower in the tub, but you can't run a bubble bath for the kids in a shower.

*Edit* Lol yeah, after I replied your post was there already, so I was like oops gotta edit! And then I had to edit again, lol!

I never understood either. Doesn't make sence. All good though. That bathdroom is upgraded

Speaking of houses, I'm making an offer on one today. Two story, brick, 4 bed, 1.5 bath, ~2,000 sq. ft, pool, hot tub, 1 car detached garage (big enough for me to work on the car, and tons of storage). They're asking $89,900 for it. Kitchen is small as hell and there's carpet in the downstairs bathroom (wtf?), so those will most likely be the first changes.

edit: Nevermind, no house for me. The mortgage people want to see at least two years of having a job. I just hit my one year mark last week. Oh well, more money for the car, let the modding begin!

i've always wanted a shower like tehstocker's a rain head above you & 2 on either side of you. i hate being cold when you have to turn around in the shower.

1. Lose weight is my first goal already lost 30 pounds the soon to be ex liked to sit around the house I got lazy myself.

2. This is a maybe fix my Protege up paint, tires do some much needed maintance on it & sell it. Use the money from the sell of the house for buying a truck. Need a truck to haul bikes canoes, camping gear,etc. The money from the sell of the Protege will go to IWANTAMIATA fund. If I remember right the snake is right up the road from where I plan to move. Tasty rear-wheel drive goodness & very tight corners!!!

3. In general just start over with my life in a place I want to live for a change.

I come home to find out that my patio drain was clogged and theres water in my apt. It went through my living room, into my dinning room, and into the kitchen. Super sucks
