Is it possible to play with the cam timing in such a way, that the intake and exhaust sides (back and front) of the engine are swapped? It's late, I'm tired, and I'm playing with the idea of making the valley of a KL where the exhaust exits and the outside of the heads the intake. Hahaha, I hope that made sense. Would be very cool and unique, in my mind at least. I like a challenge, hahaha :p

Find a way to run the engine backwards and you could have your wish
You can get a diesel to do it, and its funny to see exhaust come out the air filter, also a bit surprising when it happens too, as I did it by accident one time.

Haha, I don't mean exhaust coming out of the air filter. Imagine an intake manifold on the front and back of the engine and the exhaust manifold/header coming out of the center valley. I know there's an engine that runs this way, but I can't remember who builds it.Comment
