          Yeah, GTs had bags from 94 on just like the rest of the Escorts, my 95 had dual airbags as well.

                  Did some checking on it tonight after work. That single wire that I was talking about is located in the engine harness, and luckily I still have the old 1.9L harness and fuse box to figure it out, so apparently that spot in the diagram that says 1.9L only is talking about a particular connector number which I failed to notice the first time.

                  I have a 91 harness in my 95 car and thats why my airbags do not work.

                  So If you want the airbags to work, find a GT harness from a newer car with airbags if your car has them.

                  As to why the battery light stays on, thats another fuse box issue it seems, but its not a problem since I have a volt gauge anyway.

                  I wont be tackling any of these issues till its engine swap time again.
