Cody004 is in Birmingham Alabama for the evening... Spent two days driving an 7.3l excursion down with a trailer to deliver a customer vehicle I spent the last month building... Toyota sponsors the event that it was built for, and it's not a Toyota... They won't even be able to display it this weekend, meaning my trip was almost pointless. Oh well, long drive back to denver to build their next vehicle starts tomorrow. Whadup?!

I have a crazy morning planned, trying to get them all set up and familiarized. There's a small chance they'll display after all, seeing as this manufacturer no longer builds vehicles, hence not a threat to Toyota, but there are politics involved, and this event is the Super Bowl of its series... Supposedly Toyota has Japanese big wigs in town, and the Americans don't want to look weak. No real time to meet up, sadly, although I'd love to.

Back from my Cannonball run...

I missed Denver. Although I did like the Ozark Arkansas area, downtown Birmingham, parts of Little Rock, and the future I22 corridor in Mississippi, there really is no place like home.

As far as pics of the delivery, best I can do is this from a few weeks back: (they didn't get to debut the vehicle this weekend)

Found out that we're having a baby! Learned about a month ago. I've been debating what to do about my fleet of 2 door vehicles... The only one with more than two doors is only 100% retarded to drive around with a newborn... I'm gonna look for another wagon. I miss having one around. To really do what I want with one would mean dumping the S/R and the ****box '92... I've found a 95 that looks decent, and I'm going to look at it tomorrow. I also have a line on a Contour SVT which belongs to my boss...

Go for the wagon over the CSVT- they're neat (I looked at them too) but they ultimately didn't end up being practical.

I agree completely. I'm gonna hold out for a clean wagon, if that search fails, I've got the 'tour to fall back on.

I am thinking about buying the machine to clean injectors and offer it as a service/small side business @ better rates than what's currently available.....
