The MX3 will be fixed up and left mostly stock aside from the KLDE and some bolt-ons and then my parents will take it.

The Millenia has a bad supercharger, and that is supposed to be the only thing wrong with it. If thats all it needs, it will become my mother in-laws new DD. If it turns out to be a lot more than that, it will be sold hopefully for a profit.

I also need some KL info from the experts.

Since I will be swapping in the KLDE to the MX3,
1: Do I just keep the K8 ECU and VAF or am I leaving some power on the table by not using the 2.5 VAF and ECU?
2: Any OBD 1 KL ECU can be chipped?
3: Which intake manifold should I use? K8 or something else?
4: KLZE pistons with a chipped ECU ok?
5: does the KLDE clutch (225mm) fit the K8 flywheel?

Cam sensor is soft failing (apparently that's a BMW thing? lol) and needs front brakes and has a vac leak in the oil separator system somewhere lol

Be careful of Vanos failures. Common with those, and I think that could be a sign.

yep cam sensor is already soft failing, maybe 3/20 start ups so far it'll act up, just restart the car and it's fine again lol.

Well it does sound like a Vanos seal failure since it's throwing an inlet cam sensor code and follows most of the symptoms about 20% of the time lol

so I'll just order the seal kit and the few little pieces I didn't already order and do that with the valve cover gasket and oil filter housing seal.

I don't mind the car, and I know it'll probably be a headache, but if I can fix it up to where it runs mint again and can safety and etest I can sell it for a good chunk if I deem it too much of a money pig lol.

The Vanos failures can cause complete engine failures. Fix it and flip it.

So if I buy an 88 MX6 GT part car, would anybody want anything off the car besides the stuff I need to do the swap into my wagon?

Big items would be the H-box/axles and the 5 lug/4 wheel disc setup. I wont need those so they would be up for sale.
