P0750 - Shift Solenoid A Malfunction

The page I posted above is the full page to the bottom. The left hand margin that got cut off has nothing but numbering (1, 2, 3 etc.).
If you would have to answer no to step 4, it asks to replace the the solenoid. This would require holding the engine up either from the top or bottom - top is always better but at home you rarely can. You would have to remove a cross member from under the car and remove the Control Valve Body. It's requires taking off bolts and then a part off the tranny similar to removing the oil pan.
If the answer to number 6 is Yes, you can see the manual asks you to replace the PCM (Powertrain Control Module). That's what's commonly known as the car's computer. That one is easy to change and can be found at any junkyard. Most cars don't end up in the junkyard due to a bad PCM so they're really cheap there.
