Looks like a recovery of some sort. With the way stuff is tossed around inside I'm going to assume stolen.

You don't want this one, trust me. This is currently a hot topic @ Toronto Protege Club; I'd link the thread but its members only. Someone ran the VIN through Carfax:

                103,768 Last reported odometer reading
                Branded Titles: Salvage, Rebuilt
                Structural / Frame damage reported
                5 Previous owners
                Types of owners: Corporate fleet,
                Personal
                16 Detailed records available

It's had 5 owners. 3 in New Jersey, 2 in ontario. imported in 2005

Major accidents with all 3 owners - 'Major Damage' each time

Frame damage from the first accident. 1/20/04
                Salvage title issued 6/14/04

Salvage titles issued in ontario 2005, 2006, and 2007

167,000 kms on it as of the last reading

this is MSP # 377.... it was originally sold in new jersey at a dealer that no longer exists... the dealer code is 50236...engine number is supposed to be FS388729

                title was branded on 6/1/04
original owner is stephan d popiel

nothing was ever done during warranty except for replacing a lower radiator hose... there were concerns with the wiper blades, dashboard, and the rear door harness... all of which were addressed apparently

there is all sorts of ***ked up unoriginal **** with this car... there's no fog lights, the rear badge says "MAZDA" instead of mazdaspeed... the badges are chrome instead of satin silver, the shift knob is a P5 one

It certainly looks to be stolen and recovered. It is missing the 17" racing hart rims. Different front bumper cover, shift knob is different. Has the speed interior and spoiler. Also looks like the lot is sitting in is a storage lot of some sort.
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.
