    GT-R vented straight hoods.

Who's got pics of these? I haven't made up my mind whether I like the look of it or not.

just noticed the vents are really low on this hood, there's how they sit properly (or as properly as I can tell lol)

You're right, that is unusually forward. I've never seen that placement before. Thanks for posting it, Jack.

The hood creases are not parralel with the outer edges of the outer vents. That is what might bother me too much. I still can't decide.

What other vent(s) would suit the lines of a straight hood? Share your opinions.

          Are they oval, or teardrop?

That's pretty nice. I don't have anything on the car that's round though, and I'm concerned they might look a little out of place.

I keep remembering Rayman's Lumina vents. Those turned out well, but maybe not as functional as I'd like. I suppose I could do one of those up front. Or use a Lancer or Fifth Avenue vent.

yea the lumina ones would look decent, and they dont have any curves, im a sucker for the cosworth ones though. jinx had them on his escort, and they looked pretty good

or you could just do the curved hood with gtr vents

Been looking at pictures of various hood vents for a while and I think I like the New Yorker turbo best so far.

                              Here's a pic from thetruthaboutcars.com:
