He bought it that way. Those mods were all done by previous owner BWong from Florida.

And guess what. I have made some of my own changes, bunch of wiring was twisted and electrical taped (fixed)
F series junk yard trans (swapped out for a rebuilt G series, half shaft and axles) Added a New clutch and a Fidzana Flywheel, New filled motor mounts, Cleaned/dissembled and ported the turbo, found a bunch of loose ends (bolts), new radio and more wiring, brake caliper slides were just about froze up ruining the hawk brake pads (fixed), oil pan was leaking so it was removed cleaned and fixed, there's no damn front sway bar or a thermostat on the car, turbo coolant lines were clogged, replaced a bad wheel bearing and tie rod onto a new hub and powder coated spindle I installed. Changed out the burnt up tires for some new Nitto's on my new Axis reverbs that I had before I bought the car. and more things will improve as well...

And guess what, the damn spoilers are held on with freakin wood screws and cracking where the screws are. He didn't ask how I mounted the spoilers, he asked how they are mounted, it's my car and I could see how there on. before you added your 2 cents I've already sent him some advice. So go ahead... Sound like a hater and give Wong all the credit for the ride. But Wong passed that credit on to me, and told me dude it's all yours. My car my responsibility! There will be a whole lot more done with my Escort in a way better, cleaner, proper fashion. So I don't think for a second that I couldn't have done it myself. Did Wong put anything on(into) the car that wasn't made by someone else, The Answer is NO! So I don't ever want to hear again about who's car it was, The car is me and I'm making my self at home....

I applaud you for that. I've been in the same boat as you MANY times. "oh, that used to be ..........'s car." Yeah it was, but after I rewired and fixed the 100+ things wrong on it, it's now my car. I can truly say, that car no longer exists, it's now MY CAR. Don't listen to all the haters. If the previous only had actually cared about the car he probably would have built it the right way and would not have let it go if it was nice.

Whoa fellas simma sim sim. I my friend, was going to buy that car many moons before he put it on ebay, so I got nothing but admiration cause your car is ffing golden son and you got it for a fair price too.
Fate had it that yes (thank you md323), I purchased my hatchback in a similar state as it sits today, so I'm not dissing. You and I bought our cars with a shorter run to the finish line than most. You got me all wrong.

Now I will talk some sheat... Wouldn't that be awful to have old boys name you bought the car from. Bwong... no matter what he did in life he'd always Bwong. Just an observation.

im really close to not putting both of my spoilers on !! nobody in ny wants to install it for me.they tell me its will fall off after a while and will rust off and crack my window???

sucks...i waited so long for these and they have just beeen setting here :o(
