i wish u were using the 323 subframe.. so i can see if the lca myth exists in all Bg's. because i didnt have that issue.... hopefullyits unneccesary...lol

good luck!, what radiator u plan on using?

If it will fit under the upper radiator support, I'll make brackets for a Probe/MX6 radiator to leave room for headers. Without AC condenser lines and the power steering loop I think there will be plenty of room.

I will be putting cruise control in it though - I don't mind manual windows, but cruise is one thing I can't do without.

I want to run a/c on mine.... cruise would be nice... but i wont even bother...lol You should have plenty of space for headers tho.. only place where it weill be tight is in the rear..

[QUOTE='Dan [Sac];435309']Just picked up this 1.6 base model. Currently getting a new clutch disc so I can smog it with the 1.6 before the 2.5 KLZE swap later this month.

So far I like it other than the funky smell inside and the very protruding rear bumper - I'm assuming the EDM/JDM rear bumper will necessitate the removal of the US crash bar? And does Corksport carry BG JDM bumpers? They only show the BF on the site. There are many other styles I like but I'll have to search a bit more before I ask where to get them.

Here's the link for corksport's jdm bumpers

Thanks for that link, looks like CS has almost everything I need - Mazstyle GTR rear bumper, the JSpec front bumper. Haven't decided on sideskirts, I might go with the Mazstyle ones from CS but I was looking for something a little lower, but without twists in it. Need to find a place to get the 2 rear spoilers (upper & lower on hatch) also and that will complete the bodywork phase.

The Probe/Mx6 radiator will fit with a little massaging (trimming the sheetmetal between the upper & lower rad. supports under the headlights). The MX6 radiator is slightly different (the pass. side outlet has a slight angle in it toward the fender whereas the Probe one goes straight back at 90* from the radiator) - this was because of the pop-up headlights on the Probe - if space is an issue, the MX6 rad. might work better as that angle will allow you to go around the alternator bracket if it's too close.

I got a clutch in there today and drove around - pretty fun car, even at 82 hp with 200k on the clock. I can't wait to see what 190+ hp feels like in something this small

you can also put the rad inbetween the grill and the rad support. you just have to cut some off the grill support tabs. i've seen a couple people do that.
