I've heard that this is only for natural rubber and latex, but a better alternative, to be on the safe side, is silicone spray. You'll also notice the grease that comes with bushings is silicone based and not petroleum based.

You want to look for solutions ment to lubricate rubber.

im using door poppers . . .pretty much done with it.still needs front brakes and the struts are really bad in it so i may get some s/r ' s for it and some cheap ebay coilovers or lowering springs but its one of my daily drivers so im not going too extreme.all i gotta do other than that is tint the back window still.im working on a full jdm bg so this is just a toy to play around with

you should shorten/cut your stock bumpers.
