    Got the new turbo!! Lots of pics

    Well last time on the dyno my last turbo gernaded. So it gave me a good reason to go bigger! I got a t3/t4 hybrid turbonectics turbo. I couldnt stand the internal wastegate. Made it hard to fit a good d/p, coolant hard line had to been re-made, and they just plain suck. I deff did not want to go that route again so I had to figure out a way to run a external using my gtx mani. Problem solved after one session on the "throne" aka ****ter haha too much info. Anyway here are some pics. New dp is all 2.5 and is much better then what I had previously. My friend did all the fabbing and wedling on the d/p should have it running by tomorrow....

          wow. Great turbo.
          Some questions though.
          Have you removed the internal wastegate flap? Is the internal wastegate hole big enough not to cause boost creep? (seems to be )
          Impressive setup though.

            great work as always. I second the managemt question - are you upgrading from the AFC?

              Yes the internal flap is gone. I grinded out the hole to make it larger its about 1.25 should be plenty. As for fuel I'm still running the same gtx ecu with the S-afc. I plain to see how far I can push this setup before going standalone. I let you all know how it feels later today track numbers to come wed if weather holds out. Thanks guys!!

                      Yeah, you better be giving your friend some free beers for that fab job.

                      Looks amazing, If I ever go turbo, I want to pay your friend to make me one just like that.

                      BTW, I used to have that same battery and then it started giving me mad corrosion problems, new battery fixed that right up. Happened to you?

                          damn man, that is some sick welding. Your setup is so clean, i have to give you props on it. I didnt think the intake mani would come out so good, but it looks great aswell as your downpipe. Lovin the huge turbo too, good luck and go to the dyno!!

                              That down pipe and waste gate are bad a$$. I had to keep all those pics for references for later down the road.
