      No, I had Racing Beat springs on the car before.

      I'll probably take my side molding off when I get my Sport20 kit.

                Hey Clint, can you tell me the part number of your springs?

                Are these your springs: 5540.140 98-01 PROTEGE Pro-Kit 1.4" / 1.8"

                Also, did you notice a change in ride comfort?

                  My box says 5540.140, so yes that is the right part number.

                  I do not think they will fit the 98 however...the 2nd gen Protege has a slightly different spring design than the 3rd gen. Seems like Eibach f'ed up on the correct years.

                  Compared with my Racing Beat's before, hardly any change at all in ride comfort. From stock, yes, it will ride harsher.
