TB flange cut!

1 step closer to having a functional intake system.
this is a flange for the F series motors I.E.( F2T/F2/FE3) im using it to create a short radius bend to clear the brake master cylinder

Tomorrow im cutting a metal section to seal up the cut frame rail.
with a sealed frame rail i can mount the motor back where it belongs

flange metal was courtesy of Ftjandra(thanks again) & i had a local place waterjet cut the flange for me.

ouch. im working on alot of different things ben, had i concentrated on this only it would have been completed(running/driving) in march

Jack, im making an adapter to use the BP throttle body (GTR management for now)
its not my ideal but it'll run & thats the important part.

Well today i cleaned up under neath it some, pulled the old disc brake ebrake lines off of it & opened up the hood for the first time in a while(that felt good to do)
reassembled loosely the intake manifold to the motor & snapped two pictures

started drilling/setting up the nuts in the frame rail for the upper transmission mount bracket.
hoping to clean up the frame rail & get it sealed up this weekend.
Once thats done the motor is going back in for mockup of the downpipe/turbo inlet pipe/lower radiator pipe & charge piping.

I'll be pulling it out one final time to clean up the engine bay (its dirty as sin right now)

(thats where i wish i had a case of australian export degreaser***** hint hint)

go to any random store or even walgreens, and buy foaming oven cleaner. you dont even need to scrub a single thing, just spray then rinse.

oven cleaner is pretty harsh stuff lol, especially on black plastics, it'll stain them if you missed a spot.
