You try welding to the frame- it some of the most contaminated metal you'll ever find- short of an acid bath/blasting theres no chance in hell you can get remarkably clean welds.---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

I welded patches on the shock towers on mine, FE3-323's welds are very pretty considering. It is like trying to weld a snowflake to dew drop. They must have made 323's out be made of old beer cans.Last edited by IMACHU2; 12-08-2011, 12:45 PM.Dominic Toretto rocks a MaZda and his cell phone number starts in "(323)"

small update!!
A few goodies came in today - thanks goes out to scott (the pile)
for mailing me some 8mm wheel spacers- [cheap attempt to getting the back to clear the strut body]
RX7 balljoints also.
Installed the passenger side RX7 balljoint- which pronounced the stance even more & added alot of correction to the camber issue i had previous.
I should be able to adjust the plates back from full negative position via an alignment & end up with something a bit more midway. thinking ~ -1.3° front camber.
started forming the front rail plates to tie the front A pillar bars to the rest of the body. eventually i'll wind up fitting a box around the base to ensure more integrity.

hey ryan, let me know how much thread you have left on the studs when you use those spacers. I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth using on my race car to try and get 13" rims to clear in back with disc brakes, but I don't want to not have the lug nuts on enough. My family has lots of bg's!

theres threads, its still within a safety margin. however still uncomfortable to me. (I won't be cornering hard anytime soon-that alone brings tears to my eyes)---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---
