Are you sure? I talked to him about them a while back and he said they don't stock them anymore.

                Dash bar mounting.......

some more pictures of the metal dash support actually mounted/how i have it setup. Somewhat over complicated- yet very effective
It now doubles up a an additional bracing between the A-pillar cage bars & adds an immense amount of structural rigidity.

Doesn't need to be pretty just work

I wish I could do that for racing. It would save a little money from buying an extra few feet of tubing. But unfortunatly, it's against the rules, as it has to be 1 3/4" .095 wall tubing.

Yeah, I have. But they still won't allow it to be considered a part of the roll cage. They said it had to be 1 3/4" no matter how thick it is. I have a feeling their insurance has something to do with it. But I'm not sure.

see. screw sanctioning bodies............. thats just retarded. its a functional crash support to some extent OEM.
I don't see why it can't be tied in. but thats my personal view

Are you going to put any sort of rubber pad or something between the cage and the dash bar? Might help with vibrations on the cluster/dash seeing as how the whole car is pretty much going to act like a single rigid piece

                            nice work Ryan.

no plans on dampening the dash. it was connected to the chassis before.
in all honesty can't imagine the method i used this time would effect it any differently.
