        Yeah I know the cage was TIG...not much sense in tigging to the floor... reason I asked is arc would probably blow a hole thru the metal...I have to be real careful with my mig it only has 2 settings... a switch... hi and low...lol... princess auto $169 special...took a while to get used to it...bubble gum and holes long time!!
        I think I got a handle on it now though...

            I know it's not liquid, but have you ever tried dynamat? I've heard it's the best sound deadener hands down.

                Tow Hitch....... Mounting system & testing

                Figured out hole placement & dropped tubes through the frame rails. welding the tubes on top/bottom & then adding a plate overtop of the inner most point to further avoid any possible pull/push through.

                Seriously overkill. but it works great & is easy to install.

                tested it by standing on it & also pulled the car back onto the lift using the tow hitch

                  upper cage taco's

                  The upper cage taco's were tack'd into place

                    undercoating/ misc touchup paint

                    Went to town undercoating(Herculiner) & various touchup paint in the engine bay itself & the cabin cage joints.
