yea, Mitsubishi/Toyota stock by-pass valves are the cats ass, never heard an EVO unit on a car, but heard plenty of DSM units and they hold boost and sound great, so why not? lol

That or try the Forge bov. That's what my buddy runs on his twin turbo lsx miata. He hasn't had any trouble besides getting the wrong one when he ordered it. And when that happened, Forge shipped the correct one to him by UPS next day air. And they payed return shipping. Very good company.

what sort of warpage occurs to the housing when you weld directly on it?

                    Comment

                      virtually zero sarge.

#1 its round where its welded to (think of welding on a pipe)
#2 its AL so the heat dissipation is in its favor

even the new flange itself is A okay

seems a lot more compact than the original too which is nice

                        Comment

indeed it is more compact. the vacuum lines are a bit tighter as they are on the back side. but other then that. theres ALOT more room in that area now. which i certainly won't complain about.

                          meanwhile.... ordered:
                          tial MVS inlet/outlet flanges/valve seat
^( the emusa stuff wasn't holding up to how much i've molested with it- so once again upgrading to stainless parts )

2 more 3" stainless V bands.... i have some changes to the exhaust system in the works.
for what id like It was far! far too much of a cunt to remove the turbo/pieces today so minor upgrades are required.
                          More pictures later tonight

I was wondering who he was doing that for. lol, I wish I could have a shiny engine bay. Ever thought about polinshing the intake manifold, cam gears, and radiator? You can (almost) never have to many polished parts in the engine bay.
