headgasket you just have to shoot an email to the company & they'll sort payment(i used paypal) then mail you out a HG

the headstuds are L19 material & meant for the FE3
the valve springs are supertech honda b18 VTAK springs. you combo the outer honda valve spring with the inner valve spring for an awesome seat pressure- thats not to much/not to little.

the TI retainers are on hold until i can get valves/keepers. they have to be machined for different larger keepers
on a plus note tho- theigh weigh in at under half that of the OEM retainers.

I know VR6 vw springs will swap over, but being supertech it may be FE3 specific.

      edit: honda?? wtf haha

VR6 springs fit, sort of... they don't allow much lift increase however, and you might want to bevel the bottom end to prevent it from embedding itself to the spring seat.

Honda springs are good too. They are meant for very high revs though honda valves are bit lighter; then again you might not want to run the FE DOHC at 9k RPM either.

The exhaust system looks great! I've been meaning to finally build mine too, but have been tied up with other things with the build :/

things are looking kind of gloomy at this point. there are sure signs of detonation (a couple mishaps ) but worse off. the chambers ****ing BLOW.
compared to the kia head i have it looks as if the valve seats were machined down (deeper/further) but without attention to detail the radius edge from the casting to the seat. so there are significant steps/sharp edges - specifically more noteable in the chambers with deto signs.

i'll be setting up a porting station & cleaning up what i can, tho my expected completion time frame has now increased significantly.

          Pictures up later tonight

So your saying the Kia version head looks to be a better casting?

no- typically kia heads are hit/miss. i went through 3 kia heads to find on that was suitable enough i would consider even using it for a long term project piece. It looks like it was either a new OE head or remanned very recently prior to me pulling it at the yard.

thats probably from the VICS feed right over the 2 center ports. Its now in the books as something to fix.

or maybe some titanium valves to go with the titanium retainers? Expensive, though.
