    Tanner's Mx-3 B6DE Turbo

    Here is my friend's MX-3.
    We decided to turbo the B6-DE because we couldn't find a decent bpt to swap and the motor was in top shape.
    Some details

    garrett TB02 0,47 turbine 0,48 compressor
    custom exhaust manifold
    fmic 50x10x5
    dp 50mm and exhaust with 2 resonators
    compression ratio 8,5 using 2 metal gaskets
    simota cone filtercustom ic piping, braided oil and water turbo lines
    323 gt-x 330cc injectors
    denso iridium sparkplugs
    E-manage blue with map sensor, oxygen clamp and autotune
    Innovate lc-1 wideband,boost and oil temp gauge,turbo timer.
    F series transmission with exedy clutch
    Blocked EGR, removed PRC solenoids, VICS and all their useless vacuum lines

    We're not finished tuning it but we're working at 8-9 psi.

      wow looks clean! i like the setup, looks like the car would make some good TQ, especially with the amount of piping in there lol

          Looks real good. I like the idea of welding the strut bar where it normally bolts together.

            It has custom front and rear strut bars and H&R springs. The bars were a huge improvement in handling (especially the rear end). We wanted a turbo setup that would act as N/A and we managed to do it. The turbo pulls from 1.500-2000 and holds till redline, giving a smooth power delivery in the whole powerband without any sudden bursts.

                whats the point in doing a turbo setup if you dont get the kick in the pants from turbo lag?????? looks great!

                    lol it looks great... im not fond @ all on the extremely long intake pipe however. i think you would be severely better off extending wires for the AFM & turning it to the passenger side.

                      we've thought about that but the ac pipes,the hydraulic pipes r a bit messy so it's difficult,and the intake pipe will be big again. Does it worth it to do that to gain just 30cm of intake pipe even if it's not straight?
