The only time I see SR20DET swap done, is usually into an early 70's Datsun 510; because of near perfect power/weight ratio. But into an MX3, thats new.

nothing is safe from engine swaps anymore.I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. I noticed it was turbo, the ITB's flew over my head. I was distracted at the upper radiator hose. Is there any coolant, or the hose needs to trimmed a bit; it looks to be a little restrictive.Comment

ITB? Sorry! no gots! you can see the TB cable on the video + ITBs don't curve down. Do a research and see what I mean... Kind of different. There is also an MX-3 with a toyota calica turbo engine, and they call it " MAZOTA" lolComment

The Pulsar GTi-R (japanese AWD+turbo hatchback cousin of the Sentra) had a FWD-style SR20DET setup, with ITB's and turbo. All RB26DETT powered skylines have ITB's and twin turbos. So that one may very well have ITB's. That motor can easily push 400+whp. But I prefer the sound of a BPT or KLZE myself.Comment
