    Look who made it home!

It was a long re-build, but she made it home!!

Chillin' in the parking lot, with a grand total of 30 miles on the rebuild.

Packed front end. I also finally put power steering back in it.

    Now 1.9l

I wanted to mount the turbo so that the intake was on the drivers side but with the manifold that I used there was no way to do that and not hit the radiator...so I had to flip it.
It's still a tight fit but it's in there. I had to ditch the top radiator mounts and use zip ties to free up a little more room. I think after I recover financially I'm going to pick up a civic half radiator.

There's still a few things I need to tie up, but she's running now!

It really tight up to the lower hose. I think I might be able to cut it back a bit and make room for one. I haven't looked at it real hard yet. I just wanted to get the thing on the road.

What's the big deal? It gets plenty of cold air. I haven't seen the intake temp go over 85 while driving and, in stop and go it might get to 95.

Open turbo is a pretty bad idea on a street car, sucking in pre-warmed air doesn't help power any.

I speak from experience on this one.

For now I did put 3 layers of SS screen over the intake. I'll see how much I can cut off of the water pump intake maybe I could squeak a intake in there.

you could remove the comp housing and have a cast 90* elbow welded to it, if it comes down to it.
