    what are the flairs off of(car)/ were did you get them?
    i think they bulge/stick out to far, if you could shorten the bulge in 1/2,
    i think it would look right.

        did you do a test fit? after reading your post i went and looked at some merkur pics and they looked like a good fit, also i thought abut doing this before and 80'z vw stock flairs might be a option also.

          i just tested 1 xr4ti flare on all 4 corners of a 323 at a yard. fit just damn fine! i just wish i could have found the other 3

              those look sick! remind me of the bf gtx. i was thinking about getting a set in the futur.. now that i saw em test fitted i def plan on it now

                  Like you said, with some aggressive trimming I think it would look good, the boxy cars of the past had fender flairs like mad. Anybody ever seen 60's or 70's imports like Celicas, RX-3s, or 510's? they all had flairs and they looked incredible so with enough trimmed off and the right rims with a not too dramatic lip would look incredible!

                  Keep us informed cause the front end of your car already looks good!
