              if it comes down to it, i suppose, id prefer to only separate with the turbo right now. under 20k on a fresh rebuild & its a big change from a vj20.
              if i sold only the turbo i could still have boost with a VF11 (dinky thing) in the red 323 while the white 323 gets serious surgery done

                Awesome! I just got a set of slotted fronts and KVR pads put on at CS. I was so F'ing tired of the pulsation of the warn stock rotors.
                Im excited to see how this all works.

                  found it... lol did you guys read?

                  "I broke it. After IRD and test runs down the track for data capture revving only to 6,000 I began to blow allot of oil out the valve cover breather. Compression check showed compression down from 180psi to 100psi. I pulled the head and had it thoroughly examined; it was intact and undamaged. I replaced the head gasket, hoping that was the issue and did a leak-down test. #4 cyl. leaked at 80%. Ring land, broken ring, something gave. Now for the first rebuild..at 400 miles! :-("

                  "Is 16.369 a good quarter mile time, revving only to 6k, not taking the light, with a broken ring land in #4 at 6psi? :-)"

                      The timing cover plastics look to be easier to remove. Thats a plus.

                        you need to take a trip down here. ill take you for a ride in my fully built jdm fe-dohc 626gt touring. lsd makes it so much more fun too.

                        project is looking good though man! i just picked up two kia motors for my next build in case something bad ever happens. its just too bad the rod BB fell through. i was really looking forward tot hose at such a great price.

                              sweet, dont let the project drag like i did with mine. i havent touched my car in 6 months because of work or money. its always one or the other

                                after i pickup the mounts things will go one step @ a time. first will be getting a real FE3 motor, then modifying the frame rail & subframe. dropping in the FE3 & remaking a temporary exhaust till i can have the custom manifold made for turbo
