      nice ride.
you've done what i intend to do in the future.
except i have to work with a Mercury Tracer instead.
      however its a Unibody =]

just gotta get the engine swap and i intend on doing a Auto to Stick conversion at the same time.

I almost bought a set of em a few years back...but I don't want to drill into my rust-free rockers and I like my mud flaps.

I do plan on lowering the car more, in the form of STD Suspension coilovers. They don't make them for the BG but for the MX-3...so that'll work. I put a set on my Miata, $700 shipped for brand new full coilovers with 13 levels of dampening and height-labeled sleeves. They are great!

I don't know when I'll buy em. The STD site isn't fully up at the moment though. I got the Miata ones through a best-offer on eBay.

Definitely! I bought a can of paint thinner from our AutoMagic guy for the sole purpose of taking my pin-stripes off...though I'm sure we will use it for road paint and other issues on cars at work. lol

Yep. My P5 project is slowly progressing... engine isn't in yet.

I also picked up a 2000 Miata for $2000 that my dealership thought needed an engine. It will be for sale once the weather is nice enough for me to detail it more and take pics.

Interior was utterly gross. Trashed. I had to remove the seats and center console to fully clean the filth left in there. It had stuck valves which the mechanic that worked on it thought it needed an engine. I was told to clean the interior out where it sat in the shop so that it could be wholesaled, or buy the car. So I looked it over...then with no one around I started it up. Ran like crap then all of a sudden smoothed right out. I took it for a spin and it just ran better and better...feels a lot stronger than my '94 when it was N/A. 126,000 miles...hoping to get atleast $4,500 for it!

Just as an update with pretty pictures:

From the Boeing Employee Sports Car Club autocross last month... which is now canceled because some tard employee decided to walk across the course at the last event and a car came within 100ft of him and he complained to Boeing about it. :/

As far as my Protege... After hitting a curb the last time it snowed back in March, I had to replace the left front hub/bearing and it bent the Miata wheel too...roughed up the GT-X bumper lip a little. My parts dept. had a Miata wheel that was bent on the inside edge from a pot-hole. Bought that and got it straightened, then my dad and I aligned it. Much better!! And I talked to my dealership's paintless dent guy and he quoted me $25 per door to remove as many dents as he can... and that'll be both passenger doors and the driver's door I think. He said he might have time to do it this week.

Then sometime soon I will get STD coilovers... they don't make them for the BG but for the MX-3, which I don't see why I can't use em on the BG. I love them on my Miata, and they were only $700 shipped. Then I can go lower and get better ride quality.
