    Yeah I'll take the turbo over the engine any day. No didnt do anything with the cams. I dont have cam gears or anything. I just put the intake on and fixed the wastegate. The turbo was new/rebuilt by garett it was less then a year old. I took more of it apart before and found the maine cause of the problem. The thrust bearing desinagrated. I found some material in my drain line too so that has me worried how much entered the pan. I will drain the oil and flush it all out by pouring oil straight in/out hopefully get it all out. I asked my freind he said he will let me know by tom if he will sell me his turbo. Its a .60-.48 turbonetics stage 5 ceramic ball bearings turbo. :suckie: anyways heres some pics of what was the thrust bearing..

      thats some nasty damage .... an engine flush is a good idea. It almost looks like something impacted it for it to go.

      So just running the GTX injectors and GTX ECU what AFRs were you getting at that 15 psi?

        not running gtx injectors..I run 460cc rx7 ones. a/f was 12.3

          hows the driveability with 460ccs on the GTX ECU?

            What I would do is go get 3 or 4 supertech oil filters from Walmart (They are Champion Premium oil filters ) and run then through around 100 miles at a time. That would clean just about anything out...

            oh and that is a normal torque number for a Intake like yours...

              Nice numbers for such a small T3. Hope you get that super60 on there, that thing should put out some nice numbers.

                sounds like you might be getting quiet the turbo now! holy crap man! when will know/get the new guy?

                btw, nice numbers! what do you think you gained with the new intake since you turned the boost up 6psi? figure around 20whp?

                  Drivability is fine with the injectors and yes I run a S-AFC. Yeah the intake seems to have made about 15 extra HP but its hard to say since I only got one good pull before the turbo let go so with more tuning maybe would have seen more. I hope I get that turbo from my friend so I can have a car again. I'll keep you all posted

                      still going to have the same bolt patern? or will you have to machine a different adapter? also are you gonna go standalone now? seems like the perfect time to do so, changing to a bigger turbo, and what not.
