actually though, i'm curious if this is possible...

Each forum- BG, BF, BJ, etc.... make another subforum for competition... (not counting the primary 'Competition and Performance' section...).. And than when you were to click the C&P section in the main forum page it would compile all the threads from each chassis' section... ... get it?
I think that the splitting thing would be great! Heck, even split it into different types of competition sections (one for road racing and auto cross, one for drag racing, one for rally racing, and one for oval track racing!) And again, I think making the mx-3 and escort sections split up into categories (like the Bg,Bj,Bh,ect sections are. I.E. Engine/suspension/interiors/ect.) is a great idea! Doesn't anyone else? I know drewhall07 does, as well as Turpro!

How about adding a How-To Articles section to each of the Chassis forums: 323 BF, 1st Gen BG, 2nd Gen BHA, 3rd Gen BJ, and Mazda3 BK. Then, how-to articles pertaining only to each specific model could be placed there. It might make it easier for members to find this kind of vehicle specific information if it was posted in a separate area by itself without the distraction of other material getting in the way, as presently might be the case.

I know there presently exists a How To section in the Technical Discussion forum but this should perhaps be for material that applies across more than one model.

I know the disadvantage of doing this is the fact of creating even more categories, potentially adding to more Forum clutter.

          Just a thought!

Have a sticky thread with just pics of items. If you want to know what a 4 wire TPS plug looks like and how it differs from a 3 wire, just go to such and such thread because you will find both there. They'd have to be properly tagged to make the search function more effective. Maybe the first post of the thread would be a howto for picking the right keywords for a search. The thread would be supervised so nothing off topic got in, or even locked all together so only the mod to edit items in it.
Maybe some part numbers and availability information along with compatibility with other upgrades, and it would be nice if whoever was doing all this work smiled the whole time they were doing it Okay I might be going too far asking for smiles. lol
