                      This is a very cool project, nice work too!!!! Is it common that the jdm gtx motor/tranny combo's have the same gear ratio's as the US awd Protege's? I see the motor/trans for sale all over for $2k, but have seen the awd trans sell for as low as $200 by itself. Again very cool car!!

                        Thanks. Yes the gear ratio's for the JDM AWD trannny and the US 4wd tranny are the same.

                              was it very difficult to swap in those seat? how is the height compared to mx3 seats? i've been wanting to do that, those seats are fairly comfortable.

                                GTX seats are way comfortable. They hug you nicely.
