pulled a strut out of the mount yesterday. getting new front struts for temporary use. do you guys recommend GR-2s or tokico blues? for the price of them they are about the same, especially if i get some used blues from the forum

For temp use, doesn't REALLY matter, but i tend to think the Blues are a better strut.

yea, i mean hell if i like the blues i might not bother with k-sports. i really only want them for the damper adjustability

Blues are a poor substitute for performance shocks. They're just a marginal step up from GR2s.

You'll want the KSports over the Blues, hands down.

well i have s/r ground controls, so i need the thicker strut shaft.

that doesnt really help with shaft diameter. but it does make me wonder about our options for struts

ended up getting 4 lower mileage S/R's for 115 shipped. i figured since i needed to replace all 4 and money was tight, why not go for the best deal.

Today i puled my old lower control arms off and installed Jim's Tubular LCA's and also finalized the end link design.

Now onto the pictures

Are you sure that end link is final?? It looks really really close to rubbing the axle...

it looks like it is close in a few pictures. you can see that it isnt that close. there is almost an inch gap between the two

oh thats a much better view... It looks much closer in your other pictures... I like the set up... how do the new control arms feel on the car?

they feel good, i havent beaten it around yet, still skeptical about the one strut. but with the endlinks it feels much tighter. its a little louder in the front end thanks to the rod end instead of a bushing.

currently searching for a good lowering spring, Im going for a different ride. I want something better than these Ground Controls. I debating between HR's or ST springs. I have Eibach camber bolts to change the camber. New tie rods are getting put on next week.

Also finally getting around to installing my Blaster 3 coil i got a while ago.

Still have yet to fix my rust issues. Nice size hole on the rocker panel now.
