        Snuck in today, closed the shop doors and put the rear together for mock up. The geometry change looks great, the amount of work I'm going to have to do to get ride height/tires to fit doesn't...




        That's a 245/45/17---slightly larger than the 40 series tire I'm going to run, but it's going to be work just to get 3" of uptravel!!!

                    Thanks! The bodywork is going to be close to the DTM sytle ground effects. The doors will get cut in half and the rockerboxes will come off the lower door line out about 4" head towards the ground and then tuck under to the flat bottom. The front arches will start off the front bumper and wrap around to the box---the rears starting at the box and wrapping around to the rear bumper. I've just started cutting out material in the rear to get the uptravel I needed, the front is going to be very interesting...

                          Now you just need to find a home A/C guy to bend you up some big ass boxes... LOL The car will look great with the DTM treatment, just have to find the right bumpers to match the body work you plan on doing. Watch a show on HD-Theatre called Chop Shop, maybe they can enlighten you on how to bang out huge body mods in less than three weeks time, including finishing and paint... (Once these other projects slow down, I would be happy to help with some urethane foam carving and fiberglass work.)

                            A little progress---started the door X and got the rocker boxes bent up...


                            They weigh just over 10 pounds each---less than I thought.
