got some front and rear mx3 seats today, along with a black carpet. finally get some of the interior back together atleast..... heres a few pics of what they look like right now, im still goin to do them black i think tho.....

yea, i hated the tall shifter, so i welded it back on after taking an inch off..... im getting dougs shifter, and awr mounts, and probably his ms, and who knows what else tho, trust me i wasnt leaving it like that...lol....

put in the mx3 carpet last weekend, car doesnt sound soo hollow now, its nice..... and a little warmer too.....lol.... i need to find a new set of floor mats tho, and finish the rear seat off a little....

today i got some awr mounts from smoke, i put on the front one so far, seems to shift better so far, i need the back one in now. i also tried to get rid of a squeel ive been getting, thaught it might have been a t belt idler or tensioner, so i tossed on some spairs i have. still there, im really thinking its the pilot, and the trans is coming back out ..... oh well i hope its sorta warm next sunday....

i installed my rear awr mount last night, and wow does my car vibrate bad. you can hear the panels resonate when you rev it, im goin to see what i can do to get rid of some of the sound...lol... aside from that it shifts perfect now, and oh soooo much faster..... but if this thing doesnt settle a little looser , i may order a lower duro rear mount as ive been reading that one causes the most vibration.... it wasnt sooo bad with just the front, but the rear made my car sound like a vibrating rot box....lol... so possibly look for the set for sale/trade soon if im not happy with it in a week or 2...


the easiest way to do the rear mount that i found is to remove the upper drivers side mount, pop the axle, drop the lower crossmember and lower the trans about 2 inchs and pop out the mount bolt. i think i had it done in under an hour, including changing my axle seal and refilling the trans... now can everyone stop crying they need to pull the trans to replace the mount.....lol.....book only pays like .7 to 1 hour...

yea, when i welded my mounts solid the idle was bad...i adjusted it to 1,000rpm and it smoothed out pretty good!

if you think the awr rear mount is stiff, you should just fill your rear mount.

the rear i pulled was filled, i just got back in from readjusting the mounts. its a bit better, the upper trans mount shifted over a bit , but its smoother now....

why its not mint, and its already black. i got it free, ill replace it with new when i get to it... better than the no interior i got it with.....
